Deep drawing tools

Neudert - your specialist for thermoforming tools for plastic film forming

If the jigsaw in the case is not supposed to rattle, the nuts of the ratchet screwdriver set are to be tidied up properly or other sensitive parts are moved, this often happens in specially made plastic parts that have the exact contours. Or if you store or move special series parts in specially made pallets, plastic deep-drawn parts are always in use. The adhesive, the tube of which is held on a cardboard box with a transparent plastic shape, is protected behind a plastic deep-drawn part.

In order to produce these plastic parts, a film roll is heated and brought with air (vacuum or blown air) onto a deep-drawing tool that has the geometry in a negative or positive manner. Since the tool is cooled directly or indirectly, the warm film solidifies and the molded part is finished.

With years of experience in the field of deep-drawing mold manufacturing, Neudert is your specialist for the development and manufacture of such tools. These can be simple shapes with simple pre-stretching dies to complex tools with cooling systems, vacuum systems for fixing labels, knife milling for integrated marking knives and much more. What we need is the desired part geometry, the connection dimensions in the thermoforming machine and information on any other requirements. And the development and later the production of the tools begins.

As an example, you can see simple deep-drawing tools that are used to produce transport pallets for round parts. You can see stacking lugs on the side so that the molded parts can be stacked on top of one another. A simple wooden construction serves as a stretcher for the deep nests.

As an example, you can see a deep-drawing mold with 5 nests in which a folding container is formed. On the left the nests in which the product is placed in the tray, on the right the lid. The groove then forms the kink area, undercuts are made in the right groove so that the hinged lid can snap onto the raised edge of the nest. The molds do not have their own cooling and are screwed onto the cooling plates in the machine.
